Report on the winter meeting of West Virginia Republican Executive Committee

Hello Hardy County Republicans! The winter meeting of the West Virginia Republicans Executive committee was held in Charleston February 21, 2009. I won’ t bore you all the business details at this time but if any one wants more detailed information I will be glad to share that information with you.
The important points of the meeting for our County are:
- Continue to develop our executive committee and fill vacancies.
- Develop precincts find a Captain for each.
- Start looking for Republican Candidates to run for all offices coming up in the 2010 election.
The Executive Committee would like candidates in line by June 2009 so that they can provide training, help with press relations and advice for election. The following offices will be coming up:
2010 Elections — Full Terms
Federal
U.S. House of Representatives - All three seatsState
State Senate - 17 seats, one in each district
House of Delegates - All 100 seatsCounty
County Commission - At least one full term in each county
Board of Education - Three seats in each countyPolitical Party
State Executive Committee
Four seats in each senatorial district (two male & two female); election held at PrimaryDistrict Executive Committees
Congressional, Senatorial & Delegate District committees in multi-county districts, two per county (one male & one female) electedCounty Executive Committee
